| 2 | THE BIG STORY |
| - | ------------- |

Binance sees about $3.64 billion more leave than arrive after withdrawals resume.

**Binance saw, by its own count,** [**about $3.64 billion more leave than arrive**](https://www.implicator.ai/binance-says-net-outflows-3-64b-2-1-assets-9-5-hours-after/) **in the first nine and a half hours after it began restoring withdrawals on Sunday, Nov. 1.**

Attackers drained about $6.3 billion from Binance's hot wallets on Oct. 29\. The FBI attributed the theft to North Korea's TraderTraitor group on Oct. 31.

Binance puts the outflow at 2.1% of its $171 billion in assets, using its own Oct. 28 proof-of-reserves data. At 11:22 a.m. ET Sunday, withdrawals remained suspended for 531 of 552 listed coins.

**Why This Matters:**

- SQS Trading's planned reduction would leave less of its trading capital exposed to Binance, where it held about a quarter.
- With 531 of 552 coins still suspended Sunday morning, the early count covers only part of what customers could move.

Reality Check

**What's confirmed:** Attackers drained about $6.3 billion from Binance's hot wallets on Oct. 29; the FBI attributed the theft to North Korea's TraderTraitor group on Oct. 31.

**What's implied (not proven):** Customers may be leaving; co-CEO Yi He said some transfers are between Binance wallets, and the 2.1% outflow figure is Binance's own, using Oct. 28 reserves data.

**What could go wrong:** Outflows could rise as more of the 531 coins still suspended at 11:22 a.m. ET Sunday reopen.

**What to watch next:** Binance's updated reserves report, based on an Oct. 31 snapshot, is projected for release Monday, Nov. 2.

Cursor's marketplace delivered a tampered Claude Code extension to users.

**A** [**tampered Claude Code extension**](https://www.implicator.ai/anthropic-says-malicious-actor-used-access-cursors/) **reached Cursor's marketplace on Oct. 29, affecting up to 5,000 users by Cursor's count.**

Cursor says a key step would have failed on most machines, while its notice says the extension added the attacker's key and installed persistence. A coding agent's extension runs with the developer's privileges on the developer's machine, and this one arrived through default automatic updates.

**WIRED follows a biotech team as it gives an AI agent direct control over a live-animal experiment.**

After a veterinary surgeon performed the craniotomy, the agent selected a gene therapy, chose the brain region and injection coordinates, and controlled the robotic arms, needle, volume and speed. One Claude model refused to guide the needle and another agreed to proceed.

S&P's projection for Meta's 2027 free operating cash flow deficit accompanies its Oct. 30 outlook revision to negative from stable; the AA- rating holds. Meta posted $2.12 billion in negative free cash flow in the third quarter of 2026\. S&P expects the company's 2028 cash shortfall to be funded entirely with debt.

**Stress-test an interview scorecard.**

Use an LLM to catch vague criteria that let bias enter a senior-hire decision before interviews begin.

**Your raw input:**

Paste the role description, the interview scorecard, and any notes on what success should look like after six months. Remove candidate names and personal details.

**The prompt:**

Act as an independent hiring-process reviewer. Compare the scorecard with the role description and six-month success criteria. Identify each criterion that is subjective, duplicates another criterion, or could act as a proxy for pedigree or cultural familiarity. For every flagged item, quote the original wording, explain the decision risk in one sentence, and propose a replacement that can be scored from observable interview evidence. Then produce a revised scorecard with no more than six criteria, a 1-to-4 rating scale for each, and one interview question that tests each criterion. Do not invent job requirements. Mark any missing information as an open question.

**Why this works:**

The prompt forces the model to tie criticism to exact wording and replace weak criteria with observable evidence. The cap on criteria keeps the final scorecard usable during a live interview.

**What to use:**

Use Claude or ChatGPT with the source documents attached. A smaller model is adequate if the role description and scorecard fit in one prompt.

Lines up approximately $465 million: Agility Robotics nears a Nasdaq listing

Agility Robotics said on October 30, 2026 that its proposed SPAC combination and related financings are expected to provide approximately $465 million in gross capital before transaction expenses, subject to shareholder approval. The sum includes approximately $164 million from Churchill Capital Corp XI's trust, approximately $201 million from a Foxconn-led PIPE and $100 million already received, giving the humanoid robot maker capital for commercial expansion.

OpenAI wants data centers to answer to "AI compute campuses."

*OpenAI plans* [*a policy and PR blitz after the Nov. 3 midterms*](https://impli.me/qKZEO7?ref=implicator.ai)*, including the data center rename, according to an Axios scoop.*

**Our take:** OpenAI has three words for a data center: "AI compute campuses." Perhaps the neighbors were waiting for a quad full of sophomores. Pike County is promised thousands of jobs; the sales pitch apparently needs a college costume before anyone can discuss what the building does.

Chris Lehane said: "We think the conversation is good and healthy. It's democracy in action." Amazon and Microsoft already say they will no longer use NDAs in talks with local governments. For the campus brochure, that counts as an amenity: you can talk about the building.
